Welcome to Corbin Elementary PTO!

Welcome to the PTO web site here at Corbin Elementary. We are glad you are here and we are looking forward to a great school year. Corbin Elementary PTO is here to provide services and activities to enhance your child’s educational experience.  During the year we strive to promote open communication and involvement between administration, faculty, parents, and the community.  We also coordinate many of the academic achievement “fun” activities you will see available to your child this year. 

We hope that you will want to be a part of the excitement. It is a proven fact that when parents get involved in their children’s education, grades go up, test scores go up, children become more likely to pass and to attend better schools after high school, they have fewer discipline problems, and they are less likely to use drugs and alcohol. 

Volunteering doesn’t mean a huge time commitment. Just an hour or two a semester can make a big difference. And we have jobs to fit your time schedule and interests. If you would like to join the PTO, please feel free to join us at a PTO meeting or leave your name and phone number for us in the school office and we will be sure to get back with you.

2009-2010 Corbin Elementary PTO Calendar 

The class with the highest parent/adult enrollment will win an after-school pool party at the Baptist Family Fitness Center. Return form to your child’s teacher by the 31st along with enrollment fees.

Art and Crafts Night Tuesday November 17^th 6-8pm

PTO sponsored Family Night– Come support your child’s classroom by purchasing art work and/or crafts made by your own child. Free Family Meal and Make an Ornament sponsored by the PTO and Family Resource Center.
